M2SFPT Test Module

Advanced timing test module for Synchronous Ethernet test applications

The M2SFPT is a low-cost 2-port 1 Gigabit Ethernet test module for Layers 2-3. Based on Xena’s advanced architecture, the M2SFPT is an advanced timing test module developed for Synchronous Ethernet test applications. It is available for both the 4U 12-slot XenaBay chassis and the robust, transportable 1U XenaCompact chassis.

The M2SFPT comes with XenaManager-2G  - easy-to-use software for handling both routine and advanced test schedules as well as XenaScripting, Xena2544, Xena1564, XenaIntegrator, Xena3918 and Xena2889.

Selectable Tx line rate Tx line rate can be referenced to either local clock oscillator (adjustable in steps of 1 ppm), SMA input, or from the Rx line rate for Synchronous Ethernet applications. The Tx line rate complies with SONET/SDH/SyncE with respect to wander and jitter.
Jitter attenuation Selectable loop bandwidth for jitter attenuation: 114 Hz, 229 Hz, 460 Hz, 1864 Hz, or 7834 Hz loop bandwidth
